As a Module Builder (also known as a Panel Builder or Electrical Assembly Technician), you will help build electrical modules for advanced industrial applications. This is not assembly line work, but technically in-depth projects where you take ownership.
Guided by technical drawings and schematics, you ensure that the control components and wiring are perfectly assembled. You will primarily work in a clean, standard production environment (and occasionally in a conditioned cleanroom).
What will you be doing?
- Reading drawings: You read and interpret complex electrical schematics and translate them flawlessly into practice.
- Assembly: You mechanically assemble the modules and build them up neatly.
- Wiring: You ensure the professional wiring and connection of all electrical components.
- Quality control: You check your own work against strict quality standards (such as IPC). You only deliver when it is 100% correct.
- Workspace: You work independently with various hand and measuring tools and always maintain a safe and structured working environment.
Job Requirements
You have a strong eye for detail. Where others give up on complex wiring diagrams, you are just getting warmed up. You are accurate, stress-resistant, and possess good communication skills, allowing you to collaborate smoothly with your colleagues to continuously improve the process.
- Education: You have a completed MBO level 3 education (Vocational) in Electrical Engineering (or a similar field).
- Experience: You have experience reading electrical drawings and using hand and measuring tools.
- Knowledge: You are familiar with quality guidelines within electrical engineering (knowledge of IPC standards is a huge plus!).
- Character: You are motivated, committed, and eager to continue developing your skills in your field.
